By accessing the Website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the website or purchase our products.

1. Product Specifications and Local Compliance​

• Natural Variations: For Hippo Safety Fence Tape and any composite fencing products, natural variations in colour, grain, knots, and texture are normal and expected. These variations are not considered manufacturing defects.

• Images: Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display reflects the exact colour of the physical product.

• Buyer Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to ensure that the fencing products purchased comply with all local building codes, planning laws, HOA rules, and safety regulations. We do not guarantee compliance with any specific local legal requirements.

2. Installation Disclaimer

• Self-Installation and Third-Party Contractors: We sell fencing products only. We do not provide installation services. Any installation instructions provided on the Website or included with the product are for informational purposes only.

• We are not liable for any structural failures, property damage, personal injury, or non-compliance penalties resulting from improper installation or DIY assembly.

3. Purchases, Pricing, and Custom Orders

• Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice due to fluctuating material costs.

• Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept major credit cards. Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment is cleared.

• Pricing & Quotes: All prices are subject to change without notice. For bulk fencing orders, written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

• Accuracy of Measurements: The Buyer is entirely responsible for providing accurate measurements.

4. Shipping, Freight, and Delivery

• Freight Delivery: Due to the size and weight of fencing materials, deliveries may be made via freight truck. Curbside delivery rules apply, and we recommend the buyer need to be present to inspect and unload the shipment. The carrier will drop the shipment at the curb or the end of the driveway. Drivers are not responsible for moving materials onto your property or into backyard areas.

• Inspection for Damage: You must thoroughly inspect the shipment upon arrival. Any shipping damages, missing posts, or hardware shortages must be noted on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) and reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hippo Safety fence UK shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• The misuse, improper installation, or failure of Hippo safety fencing.

• Any unauthorised breach of the perimeter or barrier by individuals, children, or animals.

• Property damage incurred during the delivery or installation process.

• Our total liability for any claim arising out of a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product in question.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from these Terms must be filed in the courts located within the United Kingdom.

7.Returns.

We do not offer a return policy. For any query on your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
